The first set for January that we are sharing with you is called YOU ARE SUPER and is from our brand new artist, Neda Sadreddin!

We all have women and girls in our lives who are superheros to us and to others!  Just by being themselves as a Mom, a Grandma, a Friend...and we need to tell them more often how AWESOME we think they are!  So here comes the perfect stamp set!  It features a main full sized image plus two portrait sized images in different super cute poses! You can add a mask and even different letters to her chest to make it personal for the recipient!  There are several sentiments and options to create your own!  I think you'll agree this is a fabulous first set from Neda!

Here is my creation using this spectacular set. I channeled my inner super hero to create this comic book inspired card.

I created this 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"  top folding card using 110lb cover stock.  I created the "boom" , city skyline , word bubble and burst using the designer features on my Silhouette.  All patterned paper was from the Echo Park's A Boy's Life collection.  I used black dotted Washi tape to create the dots behind the "boom".  I used nestling star dies to create the star.  And last but not least the yellow dotted piece is in fact a We R Memory Keepers die called Polka Dots cut outs die.

You'll get to see ALL of our new goodies in action over the next few days of January Krafty Peeks and they'll all be released at our LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday, January 12 at 2pm EST in the Krafty Friends group!

Nellie Snellen - Hoppie's Little Sailor

When I do my work I always stamp my images, then color them up, and then look to my paper stash to find the perfect paper. I found this red white and blue paper and knew it was the one.  I got this sheet from  6x6 Project Life - Beck Higgins - High Five Edition paper pad.
I used 110lb white coverstock for the base and the created top folding 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card. I cut the stiped piece to match and adhered it to the base.

I stamped the image on 110lb coverstock and colored the stamped image using the following color guide.

Copic Color Chart
Shirt : B21 B24
Navy on scarf: B39
Red : R24 R29 R89
Hat: Y23 YR21 YR24
Stuffed bunny: Y21 Y23
Grey bunny: C1 C3 C5 C7
Ear : R20
Wood E31 E23 E25 E27
Shoes : E25 E27
White : C1
Ground : C1 C3

Once the image was colored I cut the image ensure the bunny was on the right hand side and cut the piece to measure 3 5/8" wide by 41/4" high.  I used crimson red card stock to create the border. I cut the red cardstock 3 7/8" by 4 1/2". I had a red "Thank you!" wood element which I used as my sentiment.

Warm and Cozy Birthday His and Hers

These cards were both made using the same dies and format except the his and hers colors and glasses. The base I made was white 110lb coverstock top folding 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I then used the same 110lb coverstock and cut  3 times per card the circles die from Your Next Stamps Die called "Circle Panel Die". I layered the die cuts and glued them together. I like to layer dies to give the effect of a chipboard.

I chose the green chevron page for the masculine card and a pink chevron page for the feminine card from the My Favorite Things 6x6 called Calm & Cozy Chevron. I cut each of these to measure 3 3/4" x 5 1/8". I pasted these to the card base for each card and then adhered the circle panel die cuts. I then used a grey card stock for the masculine and a red cardtstock for the feminine and cut out a panel of each and kept only a few on the circles. I pasted the circles inside the holes.

I used dies to cut out the 2 pairs of glasses using the same grey and red cardstock respectively. I then used the spellbinders D-Lites Hipster die set to create the coffee cups.Using 110lb white coverstock I die cut  2 cups per, 2 cup coffee lids I then cut 2 coffee cozies per using brown craft paper. I pasted the individual items together and colored them individually before pasting them into the little figurines.

Copic Color Chart:
Lid: E40 E43
Cup: E44 E47 E49
Cozy: little vertical lines E47

I cut the sentiment mat using Avery Elle Double Pierced rectangles die. I used the 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" die.

I stamped the sentiment using the Sunny Studios Quilting Hexagons stamp set. I used Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler for the feminine card and Basic Grey for the masculine card.

To finish the cards I used black half pearls for eyes and I used Wink of Stella in clear for the feminine glasses and cut tiny lips for her as well.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Tweetie Pies

As I look out the window at the snow covered ground this card reminds me of summers passed.  I made this 'Just because' card using my favorite palette of turquoise and gold.

I colored this elegant beauty using the following color chart.

Copic Color Chart
Bird : Y11 Y13 Y15 Y19
Dress : BG23 BG13 BG15
Skin : E000 E00 E01 E02 E04
Flowers : V17
Hair : E31 E23 E25 E27 E47 E49

This base of this top folding 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card was made using 110lb coverstock. I covered the front using a pretty and shiny gold with turquoise dots paper I found in a 6x6 Molly & Rex paper pad that I cut the 4 1/4" by 5 1/2". I left no white border on this card base which is not a common thing for me however for this one I preferred this visual without a border.

I used a unique rectangle die by Elizabeth Craft Designs called Dashed Rectangles . I was very happy to find this great die which adds just the right amount of subtle detail. The die I chose for this card was the 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" with a scrap piece of aqua paper.

I cut a piece 3 1/4" x 2" of aqua gauze paper from the Die Cuts With a View 6x6 The Gauze Paper Stack. I secure this piece to the aqua dashed rectangle and secured it to the base of the card.

I cut a pale aqua piece of paper from the Teresa Collins - Something Wonderful 6x6 paper pad to measure 3" wide and 4 1/2" tall I then cut a flag out of the bottom. I cut the stamped and colored image 2 1/2" wide and added a flag base to it as well. I adhered these pieces together and added foam and secured it to the card.  I stamped the sentiment and cut the sentiment to 2 1/4" X  1/2", added foam and adhered it to the top of the image piece.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Troll Trouble

This great stamp set is one of my favorite Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps sets. I love how cute these trolls are and I loved experimenting with colors and making the hair fun and fresh using green

The base of this card was made using 110lb white coverstock for a side folding  4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card . I covered the front of the card using a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of green chevron paper from the 6x6 paper pad by My Favorite Things called Calm & Cozy Chevron. I covered the inside of the card using a color coordinating plain green paper which I had in my scraps bin and cut to size at just shy of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" to create a pretty white border.

Using a simple inexpensive / unnamed die I found on ebayI created a fun cut out. Before using the die I unfolded the card to be sure only the front of the card would be cut. I placed the die vertically on the  front card at approximately 3".

I then used the dotted rectangle die to create the base for the stamped images. I used a mini blue chevron piece of paper from the Pebbles "Happy Day!" 6x6 paper pad. I added foam to the piece and adhered it to the card base.

I used the same mini blue chevron piece of paper from the Pebbles "Happy Day!" 6x6 paper pad to create the "awesome" sentiment. This die set is by Mroowvibes. I used white card stock to create the shadow. I cut both the sentiment and the shadow twice to add extra depth and then secured the sentiment to the card base.

I used the Copic Color chart below to color my beautiful trolls and then fussy cut around them.

Nellie Snellen - Schoffie's Skipping

For this card I used a large piece of 110lb white card stock and stamped the image in the center. I then stamped the image a second time but this time on Inkadinkadoo Stamping Mask paper. I then fussy cut around the image as closely as possible and then covered the card image using the mask and used Tim Holtz Weathered Wood Ink to color the background. I then colored my Schoffie's skipping image using the following color chart:

Copic Color Chart
Shoes : E23 E25 E27
Soles of shoes : N4 N6 N7 N9
Red : R24 R29 R39
Yellow : Y11 Y13
Hair : E44 E47 E49
Skin : E000 E00 E01 E02
Rope : N0 N2 N4

I then cut a Yellow Base using Bazzil Yellow 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" which I pasted to a 110lb card base with top fold. I then cut a piece of patterned paper Hip Hip Hooray by American Crafts 4 1/4" by 5". I pasted this piece to the center of the card leaving a 1/4" gap on the top and bottom.

I cut the colored image to 3" by 5 1/4" and added foam to the back and adhered to the card.
I used the left over patterned paper piece and fussy cut more word tags to decorate the top, When cutting the words I made sure to leave a little white frame around each word. I used Glossy Accents on 3 of the words to add extra detail and adhered them directly to the colored piece.

Skin : E000 E00 E01 E02
Hair : E33 E08 E09 E19

I used 2 layered oval dies. 1 oval approximately 3 7/8" tall and 2 3/4" wide to cut the image. The second to cut the spotted pattered paper background by Bo Bunny in the pad called "Surprise! collection". I then cut the speckled patterned paper to 4" by 4 1/2" and pasted it to the white top folding card base.

I then used Apricot Bazzil cardstock and Spellbinders S5-181  Borderabilities A2 Bracket Borders Die Templates to create the layered apricot strips. Once they were adhered to the base I added foam to the back of the image piece and adhered them to the card base.

I cut the sentiment form Pebbles Spring Fling 12X12 paper From me to you and added foam for dimension being careful not to add foam where the sentiment overlaps the image oval so it could lay flat. I used 10 Orange rhinestones to add detail, these I adhered with Glossy Accents.

Nellie Snellen - Young Rebels - Revolver Hero

I've come to really enjoy getting my hands on a great Nellie Snellen stamp here and there. They are all very cute and fun to color.

I cut a piece of red striped paper to 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" for the background, which I pasted to a 110lb white cardstock left side folding card base

For this card I stamped the image on 110lb cardstock and colored using the the following color chart :

Copic Color Chart
Skin : E000 E00 E01 E02
Shirt : R24 R29 R39
Scarf : R56 R59
Belt : E44 E47
Boots : Y15 Y28
Soles : N6 N7 N9
Hat and Chaps : E31 E53 E44
Jeans : B23 B24

I used a 3" square nestling die to cut out the image.  I then used same 3 inch square die and another 3 1/2" square nestling die to create the dark red frame. I pasted the red frame titled directly to the card and added foam to the base of the colored stamped image.

I cut a piece of the same red cardstock cut to 3 1/8 " by 1" to create the base for the sentiment.  I then stamped "Happy Birthday" by Stampabilities called Happy Birthday #1 using my Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler ink pad. I cut the piece to 7/8" by 2 7/8". I added foam and pasted this to the card base.

I used a piece on 1/4" wide twill ribbon and tied it into a bow... I cut the ends long and tied a knot at each end. I used Scor tape to adhere the bow to the card.

I stamped the image a second time on Inkadinkadoo Stamping Mask Paper. I then fussy cut the image as closely as possible , covered the colored image and used Tim Holtz distress ink for the sky and ground. Pink Ink Designs - Dragon

Pink Ink Designs - Dragon

As part of the Scrapofparadise.ca design team I created this colorful card.

I absolutely love this great over-sized dragon stamp by Pink Ink Designs. This card is 5 3/4" by 5 3/4" and the photos do not do it justice.  The set comes with the dragon, a butterfly, a single dragon wing, a flourish, 3 different stars and a sentiment "Just Imagine"

I stamped the image on 80lb Neenah Smooth Classic Crest Solar White Paper. Colored as per chart below

Copics color chart:
Orange: YR16 E08
Yellow: Y11 Y15 Y35
Red: R35 R46 R59
Orange: YR16 E08

I used a piece of square paper 4 1/4" by 4 1/4" and traced out a square except where the dragon met the edge and and carefully cut out the square omitting the dragon. I used a Slice Precision Cutter with Ceramic Blade to cut out the tiny pieces.
I then fussy cut as close to image as possible. To finish up the image and for a clean finish after fussy cutting I used Copic marker 100 along the outside edge to cover the white core of the paper.

I cut a smaller square from Brown paper from the Echo Park - Wish upon a Star - 12x12 Solids pack.  4" by 4". I adhered the brown piece to the back of the image.

I used another piece of Neenah 80lb Solar White cover stock approximately 5 1/2" by 5 1/2" to create a sky background.
I created clouds are made using the My Favorite Things Mini Cloud Edges stencil ST-100 and Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

I used a piece of brown paper from Echo Park - Wish upon a Star 12x12 solid pack just shy of 5 3/4" by 5 3/4" and cut the dragon piece to 5 1/2" by 5 1/2". I added foam to the dragon image and adhered the pieces to the card base.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Something Yummy Challenge!!!

Good morning and welcome to another fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! https://kraftinkimmiestamps.blogspot....
